LADIES’ HOCKEY TEAM. (Special to “Guardian”). TIMARU, August 29. The llokitika Ladies Hockey Club touring team, arrived at Timaru on Friday and played Timaru ladies’ team this afternoon, an exciting game re-' Suiting in a win for Timaru by five goals to Hokitika’s two goals. The scorers for Hokitika were Misses Sumner 1 and Hall. The ground was very slippery, rain falling all the time the game was being played, the losers having hard luck'on several occasions in not-increasing their score.

The team are all well and are having a good time.
