WELLINGTON, August 28. A deputation representing the Associated Chambers of Commerce ot N.Z. is to wait on the Prime Minister, according to a decision of an executive meeting of the association to-day, to urge that the Government make representations to the British Government to protect British shipping against for eign competition such as that offered by the Matson Line and to extend such protection by the retaliatory method of prohibition.
