CAUSTIC CRITICS
OF LABOUR’S MANIFESTO. [United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph .—Copyright.] (Received this day. at 8 a.m.) LONDON, August 28. The “Daily Express” says the official opposition has produced the most ioolish document in political annals of the country. If their men and women are deceivable by such a cry then heaven help the nation. The ‘“Morning Post” says it- is difficult to imagine a statement wherein reckless misrepresentation" is carried to more extreme lengths. Jt is a shock to find among the' signatories, his Majesty’s Foreign Secretary. It enhances Mr Henderson’s prestige as a demagogue and extinguishes his reputation as a statesman.
