ECONOMIC COMMITTEE
TO-DAY’S SITTING.

Tbe .Special Economic Committee again heard evidence this morning from .Messrs Regg and Acland. The latter gave evidence along the lines of his recently published statement and was questioned by members of the Committee. There are still some points concerning-' which the Committee desires to question Mr Acland and he will lie recalled at some future date. The Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. to-day till Monday morning when representatives of bankers will be heard. They will be headed h.v Mr W. A. Keily, Chairman of the Associated Banks.
