THE HOUSE. 'By Telegraph—Per Pres' Assoeiaiion ) WELLINGTON. August 28. In the House of Representatives last evening the following local bills were passed:—Pet-one Borough Council Empowering (Mr W. Nash); Christ, church Tramway District Amendment (Mr McCombs). The following bills were read a second time:—Auckland and Suburban Drainage Amendment (Hon. Stallworthy). Cameron and Soldiers Memorial Park (Masterton)- Trustees Empowering (Mr Sykes). Rotorua Borough Reclamation Empowering (Mr Clinkard). South Wairarapa River Board Empowering (Mr McDonald) and Wellington City Milk Supply Amendment (Mr McKeen). The last named Bill was referred to> the Agricultural, Pastoral and Stock Committee. The House rose at 10.30 p.m. till 2.30 p.m. to-day.
