/POST OFFICE SAVINGS BANK RETURNS. For the quarter ended 30th June, ‘1931; Post Office Savings-bank deposits totalled £5,823,822, and withdrawals £6,778,983, making an excess of withdrawals over deposits of £955,161. In comparison with these figures deposits ' for the quarter ended 30th June, 1930, amounted to £6,720/232 and withdrawals £7,828,772—an excess of withdrawals of £1,108,540.
