OBJECT TO COMPETITION. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 25. Representatives of the three largest taxi companies in Auckland waited on the Transport Board to-day, and asked the Board to_ assume control of all taxis, fix maximum and minimum fares, and restrict the number of taxis operating.
