HAVANA (Cuba), August 20

Eye-witnesses to the fighting during the past few days at Gibara say that heavy casualties were inflicted on the Rebel Foreign Legion Expeditionary Force by Government- forces with their rifles and aeroplane bombs. . 'lt is impossible to estimate the rebels dead, but the Government troops have lost two hundred and fifty men.
