Tlie New Zealand Maori team to tour the Seddon Shield districts of the West Coast, Bailer, Nelson and Marlborough will be chosen probably after the North v. South Island Maori match at Lancaster Park on Saturday.

The .South Island Maori team is:

Backs: Iluria (Canterbury), Pfiillips >(Marlborough), Tainui (Ashburton), McDonald (Marlborough), Bell (Southland), 'Mason (North Otago), Ropata (Marlborough). Forwards : M. On tlie way to Christchurch as challengers for the Prince of M ales Cup, Tairawhiti (East Coast) Maori representatives were at Wellington to-day and leave for the south to-night. The challenge match is with Te V aipounaniu South Island Maori representatives (holders of. the cup) on Saturday. A team representative of Maoris of all districts will he chosen after the game and will leave Christchurch on Tuesday to play AV est c oast, -neii Bailer, then Marlborough and then proceed to Otaki for linaj training for the match with the Australian team at Palmerston North on' the 9th of -September. It is stated Nepia is available for selection in the New Zealand team, for the Test with Australia at Auckland.
