N.Z. CUP. TH.S YEARS STAKE. ( By> Telegraph—Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, August 17. The Committee of the Canterbury jocKey Club has settled the conditions for the New Zealand Cup to be run in November. The stake will be £IOOO. The Cup will be valued at £SO, with £950 in cash. The isecond horse to receive £2OO and third horse £IOO from the stake. The condition for the maximum weight to be 9st. 61b., which has been included for several years, has oetn deleted. There will be no restriction this year on the weight with which the handicapper may ktart'the handicap. No horse's weight may be increased beyond weight for age, by rehaudicap.
