The Canteens Trust Board has agreed to find £2OOO. the War Funds Council to provide £ISOO. and the Red Cross Society throughout New Zealand has been asked to provide £ISOO. At a meeting of the executive of the Wellington branch of the Red Cross Society, it was unanimously agreed that the branch contribute fts proportionate share towards the sum required. The Canterbury, Auckland and Otago branches are still considering the proposal. The Bill provides for facilities being provided for the vocational training o' disabled and partially disabled soldiers so that they can supplement their pensions.
