The police said that there had been a ot of car stealing in the Mount Eden district, hut since the arrests very few reports of stolen cars had been received.. One of the accused had a hunch of car.keys when arrested. The Magistrate (Mr F. KL. Hunt) aid that the accused were all extremely ’ucky to receive probation. They deserved three years each in a Borstal nstitute.
