H Dyer, when asking in the Magi, trate’s Court to-day, for a remand i. a case in which George Henry Ellis aged 23, mechanic, of AVellington, wa enarged with • obtaining four gallon of petrol in Masterton by represent ing that lie was employed by a Wei iington service station. The Sergeant said that the accused had. matte a statement regarding hi. movements in Wellington, which th police wished to verify. El is was arrested oil the arrival o' a sevice car at Featherston from Wellington on Tuesday morning. Hi was remanded to appear at Ma terton on August 19th.
