MR SCULLIN’S APPEAL
TO BOND HOLDERS. (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 10.15 a.m.) 'MELBOURNE, August 12. Mr Scull in, in a broadcast appeal to bond holders to convert said : —“This is Australia’s hour. The time andi opportunity have arrived for the people. of the Commonwealth to show their faith in their country by responding to tlie nation-wide appeal by the Governments for the conversion of Australia’s huge internal indebtedness into stock carrying lower rates of interest. Already one hundred andi hftv million pounds of the 556 millions ha\e been converted.
