WALKER BEATS ALLEY. (By Teleyraph—Per Press Association) AUCKLAND,’ August 10. •'The professional wrestling contest, tonight between George “Walker and Tom. Alley ended’ in the fourth round in favour of Walker, Alley being unable to continue. Alley won a submission fall in tile second round with a doublereverse wristlock. In' the fourth round Alley was thrown heavily four times and was unable to continue. .A crowded house witnessed the match. The winner thus maintained his unbeaten record over the past two seasons. A DRAWN CONTEST. WELLINGTON, August 10. No falls were registered in the professional wrestling bout at the down Hall this evening betwen Stanley Burseli (12st 31b) and George Pencheff (lost 101 b). The wrestling had been fairly even, and the match was declared a ..draw by the referee, Mr J. Lack. After the first round there was plenty of action suppl-ied-mainly by 'Penchetf, and the work of both men was fast, showy, and of quite a good standard.
