ABLE TO CO TO THE RACES. NAPIER, August- 10. The chairman of the County Council stated to-d!ay that he knew of some defaulting ratepayers who had gone to the Grand National meeting at Christchurch'. He thought that most dishonest. He knew that he would get into trouble for his utterance, but he felt that he had to protect those who had paid. It was decided to sue for rates outstanding.
