France may not compete for the Schneider Cup. Air Minister Denies-? nil has returned from the testing station. He says a decision will be made shortly. It is probable on’y one fifteen hundred horse power plane with a short wing span will he ready in time for the race. He reports ithe high speeds attained by French machines were apparently exaggerated. They are not capable of more than 315 miles an hour:
