A WRESTLING DRAW

A DISSATISFIED PUBLIC. (Tiy Telegraph—Per Press Association) WHAN GAR El, August 11. A packed attendance in the Town Hall last night witnessed Tom Lurich and Scotty McDougall wrestle a draw, one fall each. Lurich scored the first with a body scissors in the fourth round. In the seventh, McDougall threw his opponent through the ropes and on his return he pinned him with a Body press. The exhibition was very disappointing. iWany ispeotators accompanied it with hoots, groans, catcalls and counting out. A draw was declared after .the end of the eighth • round. The local committee then held an emergency meeting and decided to impound the stakes and send a protest to the New Zealand Council for the latter’s ruling.
