“TEMPERATURE 101.”
“I see in the League of Nations the clearing house of international affairs to-day and also a clearing house for Ministers of foreign States. I have seen 23 Foreign Ministers in a room all at one time, and they have been able to meet each other an,d talk things over, with the result that to-day there is an increasing consciousness of co-operation. I believe that as a result of those meetings an international consciousness of the necessity for co-operation has arisen and firmly taken its place. The world and Europe particularly, is ill, and in, the diagnosis T made the other day T found her temperature 101. The situation is serious, and the patient must be frb-tu proper rest and recuperation. Only if we all help can that be achieved. T see in Geneva the stepping-stone to an atmosnhere of peace and understanding, and the L°agne must be the plant winch generates that atmosphere.”— ; M. Jan Masarvk. the Gzecho-Slovakian Minister on London.
