August 5. ■ Twelve* charges of stealing moneys totalling £lO5. between February U - ! <> and December 1030, from Munro and Hickinboftom, tailors were made against Robert .John Munro. aged 50. before Magistrate Young. Munro pleaded not- guilty and was committed for trial.

The police said that Munro and Hic'kinbottom had carried oil business lor many years in partnership. I'.ithei had been entitled to receive moneys for the firm and to pay them into a common account. It was alleged that Munro received moneys and conceited them to his own use without entering them in the books.
