Brigadier imrie will play a medley o •'National Airs," Handel’s “Largo" am "Favourite dlymn Tunes.” Also on C programme will be Madame Roroi ’ Cronin, soprano, late of Auckland. The Orchestrion, under Signor A. P. Truda, will be hoard in the overture "Masanhl|o,'’ the selection "-Katin, the Dancer’ and the select ion '‘Songs of Italy.” Mrs Anita Ledsham will contribute’ four popular songs to 3YA'!s programme this evening: “Buy my Strawberries,’' "Irish Folk Song," “Come Lads and Lasses" and “The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lorn.<nd." The other vorahsts tor the evening will he Mr Russell Sumner (tenor) and Mr Arch Macqnarrio (baritone), while Mr I/. I. •). Ryan will uilerta:n for fifteen mimitos with "Tricks and Teasers," a radio conjuring turn. Saxophone and piano novelty items will >c placed by Mr Lyndon P. Christie •Hid .Miss Clive Ai instoii. Shanks, baritone, will lie s'nging, and Miss Joyce Hould. the well known elocution : ste, will be heard in two humorous numbers. A new ariist to perform will he .Mrs 0. T. Brian, a very versatile lady,, who is being several songs at the piano. The Orchestral Octet will be heard in .numbers which are sure to he popular. U 2YA, a feature of the programme will be the Bridges Trio, a comb.nation of clever young play rs from nanganui. They arc experts on xylophone aed guitars and have appeared before- the microphone at all the leading broadcasting stations in 'Australasia. Mr Waiter Brough, bacitone, a well known and popular sing r from IYA, will make irs appearance'at 2YA, Mss Florence Penney, L.A.8., will feature, popular songs at the piano. The Salon Orchestra will J prest lit a programme and Mr W. llavdock will pla.y a violin solo with orches j tral accompaniment, “.Vfelodte, ’ by Tsrhaikowsky.
