Letters protesting against the charges decided upon for admission to the grounds and stands for the matches with the Australian Rugby fifteen were received at this evening’s meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union. The discussion on the charges was taken in committee. Finally, the original charges of 2s ’to the ground and 3s fid to the standi, and school children at half price, were reaffirmed. The charges for the North Island v. South Island match, to be played at Wellington on August 15th, were fixed at Is fid l to the ground and 2s 6d to the stand, with school children half price.
