ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES
KILLED BY FALL. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) MARTON. July 30. The success of the Rangit.ikei Hunt Steeplechase meeting yesterday was marred by a fatal accident. Evan McGregor, a highly esteemed early settler, aged 61, fell from his mount at a hurdle, the animal rolling on him and he died before admission to the hospital. He leaves a widow and ten children.
