SURGICAL EXAMS

TO BE HELD IN AUSTRALIA. (Australian Press Association.) FREMANTLE, July 29. Two passengers who arrived by the liner “Alaloja,” from England to-day, are Professor W. Wright (Professor of Anatomy), and -Professor G. A. Buckmaster (Professor of Physiology), who will conduct the primary examination for the Diploma of the Royal College of Surgeons, England. This is the first time that suoh an examination has been held in Australia, the object of holding it here being to save Australian and New Zealand candidates the time and expense of proceeding to London.
