THREE STOWAWAYS
BROUGHT BACK TO N.Z. , , cii(Australian,-Pres3 > Association.) AUCKLAND, July 26. . Three men who stowed away on the Chaw Savill and Albion Coy's motorship “Taranaki,” before she left Wellington for London on June sth, .were brought back to New Zealand by the Company’s steamer “Matakana,” which arrived at Auckland from London last night. . • The stowaways were transferred from the Taranaki to the Matakana in'the Carribbean Sea on June 29, a boat being lowered from the Taranaki for the purpose. When the Matakana berthed th'-s morning tho men were handed over to the police.
