SUSPECTED INCENDIARISM. 'By Telegraph—Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, July 27. Mr, W. A. Champion, a fruit retailer, of Spreydon, awoke at 10 o’clock this morning to find his shop ablaze and all evidences of daring burglary. His stock and fittings, worth £l5O, were destroyed and the thieves had. taken £24 kept in a box under the the counter. It is believed the fire was of an incendiary origin. Previous attempts had been made to burn Champion’s garage and last year he lost a car through a fire.
