SYDNEY, July 23. Mr Lang annnonced in the Assembly that ho was unable to table the terms of the agreement with the Commonwealth Bank regarding the absorption of the State Savings Bank, as he had received a letter ifrom .the Chairman of the Commonwealth Bank stating that tf he did so further negotiations .would be,automatically closed. BANK ULTIMATUM. SYDNEY, July 23. ■ The Premier. Mr Lang, lias been .given,, until Saturday to accept or reject, Hie Commonwealth Bank’s proposes for taking .ovejr the New South Wales Government Savings Bank.
