NEW GUARD” MEETING

SYDNEY, July 22. Three thousand people, admitted by ticket only, attended a meeting of the “Nt-w Guard” at Sydney Town Hall tonight and heard spirited addresses upon the objects of this recently formed organisation. 'Major Treloar declared the New Guard was not provocative. It however, was completely organised along military lines to deal with any attempt at a revolution or overthrow of the present order of things by dangerous elemants now operating in the community.'
