MURDER CHARGE
FURTHER EVIDENCE.

AUCKLAND, July 20.
The hearing of the charge oT murder against George Rameka, was resumed in the Police- Court.
A woman living in the house at which .Rameka arrived after the stabbing of Mrs Johnson, said he. appeared like a man walking in his sleep.. When -she asked him what -was wrong, he replied “my girl has turned me down after I have given her £24, also-the last £7. iShe turned me down, also her people.” . ■Dr O'Brien of Auckland Hospital said Rameka was under his care for about eight days after his admission, on the dav of the murder. He .. showed no mental abnormalities. . . Two shop assistants said they, remembered a (Maori buying a knife about 8.30 on the: morning of the murder and a chemist said a vMapri bought' a< bottle of poison on ' the*'•previous'(afternoon.
