LANG’S PARTY.
BECOMING UNEASY. (Australian Press Association) (Received this day at 9.25 a.m) (SYDNEY, July 20. It is estimated that fourteen of Lang’s party was extremely restive and intend to insist that the Premier join the JLoan Council and refrain from further conflict with the Governor or Upper House. it is said they fear his tactics will wreck the Labour party and certainly prejudice the chances of country members in future elections. The fact that no word has yet been received from the Dominons Office concerning the Governor’s refusal to grant more labour •appointments to the Upper Hou~e Iras given rise to a belief that the Dominions Office docs not intend to intervene in the dispute.
