RUMOUR OF CESSATION DENIED. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association ; AUCKLAND, July 16.! The prediction that the Railway Board will recommend the stoppage o all railway lines under construction war described by Sir James Gunson, a member of the board, last evening as being very mischievous, unfair to the board, and entirely without foundation. Sir James. added that the hoard had not yet deliberated on the position of any of the railway construction works so far examined. The southern members of the boarc will arrive in Auckland on Tuesday, and accompanied by Sir James Gunson. will leave for North Auckland that morning to inspect the line from Ivir: kopuni to Dargaville, the construction of which was recently stopped when the work was in the final stages.
