AUSTRALIAN LOAN
TO COVER DEFICIT. (Australian Press Association.) CANBERRA, July 16. . In the. Federal. House of Representatives to-day, Hon. E. G., Theodore (Treasurer) obtain approval for a loan appropriation *of fifteen-. millio-ns styling in order party to cover the deficit. Mr Theodore and other Mi nisteis complained that, through the No" South Wales default the Commonwealth has been saddled ,with over three million pounds of unpaid interest, which added to the Federal deficit.
It is understood that the loan is be ing arranged through financial institutions.
