Members’ Handicap:—(l) Kahikatoa 1; (1) Prince Val 2; (10) Red Boa 3. Won by 2 lengths. Petone Handicap :—(5) Water Power 1; (3) Wild Country 2; (4) Trojan Melody 3. Won by 1} lengths. Time 1.22 J. CL AR EM ORE’S OWNER. DISQUALIFIED FOR SIX WEEKS. WELLINGTON, July 15. The owner and trainer, S. Malone, who won the Highweight Handicap at Trent ham to-day with Claremore, ‘was disqualified till September Ist. under Part VI, Rule 7 of the Rules of Racing, providing for misconduct towards a racing official.
