AH roll up to the firemen’s hull, You’re sure to spend a good night. Think of the dances you will have, The music so merry and bright.
Numbers of dances round and square, The kind a dancer enjoys. Gentlemen take your lady friends, Ladies, please take all your boys.
Fancy you’re off to see a ‘‘blaze”. Go along in a hurry. brigade i s in your town, You have no need to worry.
Think of the.thrills they’ve given yon Dressed in their coats of red* Out they all jump when the hell rings, Tho’, often ’tis warmer in bed..
Then everything goes like • clockwork. They’ve ladders and hose and reels, But all you good people must know, “Engines” want “oil” for their “wheels”.
There’s no need to sav the supper, Will he of the very best, Knowing the lady who caters. Yon surely can guess the rest.
