IXTEROOLONIAL SERVICE

A READJUSTMENT PENDING

WELLINGTON, July 8

There will be a readjustment of the Union Company's vessels in the TransPacific and intercolonial services this month, when, the Royal Mail liner Aorangi resumes in the Vancouver service after undergoing an extensive overhaul at Sydney. She is being relieved by the Royal Mail liner Monowai, which is due at Auckland from Vancouver on Monday and leaves for Sydney the following day.

| On arrival at Sydney, the Monowai will be withdrawn from the service and will be replaced by the Aorangi, which is to leave Sydney for'Vancouver, via | Auckland, Suva, and Honolulu, on July 23. The Monowai will be transferred to the intercolonial service and] will leave Sydney for Wellington on | July 24, in place of the Marama, which • will be withdrawn at Sydney on July 21, and will afterwards proceed to Port Chalmers to be laid up until November.

I The Monowai will continue in the intercolonial service until the Maunganui returns to Sydney from San Francisco on August 29. The Monowai will the nresume running in tlm Pacific then resume running in the Pacific Francisco, via Wellington, Rarotonga, and Papeete, on September 3. The Maunganui will replace the Monowai ip the intercolonial service and will leave Sydney for Auckland and Wellington on September 4.
