HOKITIKA POULTRY CLUB,

AT DRILL SHED,

A GOOD DISPLAY

The 1931 Show of the Hokitika Poultry and Canary Club was opened this afternoon before a good attendance. The Drill Hall is filled to overflowing with entries of poultry, the pigeons being shown in the Horticultural Hall. There is a.Jane display of the various sections English' Game, the cages extending all round the hall, while next in favour by ex-, liibitors are Brown and White Leghorns. The quality of the entry is fully equal to those of' last year, though the total entries are not quite so large. Mr A. E. Hounsell judged the poultry and Hr J. J. Breeze the pigeons and canaries, completing their duties this morning in a very satisFactorv manner.

Tlie' Show, will be open again this evening and also to-ihorrow afternoon and evening The various officials including the Secretary (Mr F. A.
