This afternoon. a. pilgrimage- :, was made to the Bluff Cemetery for the purpose oi’ placing a wreath on the grav< of Sir Joseph Ward. The function was carried out at tin request of the Prime Minister, M' Forbes, by the Mayor of Bluff, Mr TV F. Doyle.
The inscription on the wreath read “Tn affectionate memory—from his Ministerial colleagues.” Tn acklitioi ta the Councillors, members of the pub lie and personal friends of the dent statesman were also present
