Donald, of Lansdowne, Master-ton, was injured, sustaining a wound on the head, and severe shock. Miss M. Donald and Miss J Lilburn (Wanganui) sustained shock Miss A. James Jackson, a married man of 7 Milsom Street, St. Albans, was admitted to the Hospital, in a serious condition, as a result of being knocked down by a motor-car at the corner of Healey Avenue and Papanui Road. He i.s suffering from internal injuries and injuries to his ribs. He is said to have stepped off the footpath when he collided with a oar making a lefthand turn. The driver of the car was Frank Harold Wise, St. Albans, who took the injured man to the hospital in his car.
