One hundred and seventy-five were killed on Independence Day accidents on Saturday. Automobiles and drowning* accounted for more than fifty. Fireworks killed only two, but lots ofinjuries. HEAT DEATH ROLL. NEW YORK. July 4. The bent death roll is now thirteen hundred. Fourteen at least bathers were drowned in a surging lirlerip which swept Southern California coast.
