The Board met at 4.30 p.m. Present.—. Messrs M. H. Houston (Chairman) W. E ; . Bicliards, J. J. Mclntosh, E. W. Heenan, D. P. Stuart.

SPECIAL MEETING. The Auditor-General forwarded the balance sheet for the year ended Sept. 30th, 1930, duly certified.—Received The Chairman was authorised to sign same as settled. > ORDINARY MEETING.

The minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved and tho inward correspondence, generally, circulars was read and received. It was resolved that the local millers be asked to quote for 8000 feet of decking for the wharf.

It was resolved that the County Council be asked in invite Mr Milkier to furnish the Board with a report and estimated cost of deviating the river to flow along the wharf.

Moved by MY Mclntosh and seconded by Mr Heenan that the Railway Engineer be invited to meet Board members to discuss the poss'bilitv of deviating the river into the 80 feet spans of the bridge.—Carried. The annual recurring rate was levied for the current year. Accounts amounting to £209 14s :n----cluding £IBB 18s 5d unemployed relief, were passed for nnynmnt.
