UNFOUNDED RUMOUR. WELLINGTON, July 4. Mr ; R. A. Wright (Reform) stated in the House last night that he hoped the rumour that 900 men were about to be dismissed from the Railway Department was untrue. Seen to-day, Mr Sterling said the rumour ‘is unfounded.
