Tile Dominica unemployed registrations tor the week endecl June 29th, totalled 45,234, compared with 44,521, in tne previous seven days. '1 he number of men qualified under the No. o Scheme and placed in work was 34,04.4. Alen engagt cl on No. -1 A. .■scheme totalled 4,017, and on No. 4 B. Scheme 713. , Tiie total men for whom no work was found was 5,885, but it is probable said the Minister, that the majority were not eligible for employment during the week under the Boards scheme of rationing, while others could not be suitably placed on account of physical disability. '1 lie figures in the cities were:— Auckland with dependents, 2,814; without, 3,568. Wellington, 2,010, and 2,223,
