COSTLY YACHT
AN ATTEMPT TO STEAL IT

SYDNEY, July 3.
■Captain Ernest Sayer, who is ■ in charge of the luxurious yacht ‘‘Boomerang,’’ which cost thirty thousand sterling, and is the property of Mr N. ,F. Albert, has reported to the police that three men and a woman boarded the yacht early on Tuesday last, and that they assaulted and bound him to his bunk. They then tried to steal the yacht. He (Sayer) told them, however, that .there was no compass on board. Thereupon they rowed away as mysteriously as they came. Captain Sayer after this freed himself from his bonds.
