a tango. Air Stan. Williamson, an exponent of the banjo, will again delight listeners. Ihe vocal portion will be in bands of fine 'Lyric Quartet and Miss '.Muriel Join's. The latter will be hea-td in a, budget of popular songs tit the

piano. The Christchurch Saxophone Rand, under Mr Glaysher, will make its initial appearance in radio this- evening when it wjll present a programme at 3YA. It is a well trained combination of sixteen players. .Miss L. At. 'I llis evening, the IV A Orchestral Oite.t will be playing the "Chelsea China" suite, and “Country Girl selection. Mrs B. Jellard, popular contralto, and Miss Eileen Smithson, will he heard again, the hitter singing several songs of the popular type. Mr Dan flood, humorist, is always very welcome, bringing vv.th him a wealth of professional experience, and Mr Ivan Perrin will once again delight listeners with several nove'ty piano solos. At 2YA, in commemoration of the •'.tli July, ‘Ami.lira's Independence Day, tiicre' will lie a full instrumental programme of Ameriuan selections and melodies. Mr Spencer Furrell (lightbaritone) a newcomer to 2YA, will be heard in popular melodies with orchestral accompaniment. Mrs Amy Dunn ■■(soprano) and Mi Nolto Toki will he singing. Two humorous sketches will be given by Miss Grade Kerr and Mr James Cooke. Both 3Y r A and 4YA will be broadcasting on relay from His Majesty s 'lheatre, Dunedin, a concert to be given under the auspices of the Society of Professional Musicians of Otago, in aid of the music teachers of Hawkes Bay.
