Further representations are being made to day to impress upon Messrs Forbes and C'oates the urgent need of forming a strong National Government. A memorandum presented to the Leaders states—This movement was started early in April, and to-day the need for unity is even more imperative than it was then. We, the undersigned, desire publicly to associate ourselves with the resolutions published on the fourth of June. We heartily endorse their appeal to everyone to forget party and consider earnestly how the. welfare of the Dominion might best be secured, and maintained.
