Reported' to the police as a burglary, the disappearance of the complete fur. nishiiigs of a Pn.June 10 was given a more V innocent explanation this morning, \vhcn Charles Henry Frederick Pillow, .aged twenty-two years, a- 1 flirt track rider and mechanic, appeared on a charge of breaking arid entering .the , dwelling of Fay Cooper at Hohipere Street and stealing furniture/ bedding.-and clothing of a total of ;^7s.iv. ; It appears that,- Fay’s sister Violet owed Pillo.w £i6 and told him. the furpiture yyas 'hers,. going with him to the fiat and -assisting him to get. the furniture out.-It-,;was then, sold for £ll, Violet keeping -£l, and giving Pillow hisr£l6. Pillow, declared he did not kqow the furniture was not Violet’s. When , visiting , the flat he pad never seen Fay. ‘‘l’m... not. going .to convict him on this,” said ; Magistrate, Mr F. K.
