A maximum fine of £5, in citfault a month s gaol was imposed on Earnest Alayclwell, 44, an unoniploVUl, by Mr Alo.-ley, r.n each of two charges of obtaining relief work 'by false pretences, lie was also ordered to refund the money lie had obtained in wages'.
After hearing evidence, the [Magistrate said: ‘•This man has over 21009 i:i the B nk and perpetrated a deliberate fraud on his lellow citizens. He is ri rhtly brought before the Court.”
