The /Acting Secretary Castle. States Department, announced to-day that tlm United .States would accept no counter proposal to Mr Hoover’s debt plan, which did not fall completely within the purpose of the President’s proposal. No agreement was reached with France for the reason that, there were still teelniionl points to be settled, he said, a ter talking over the TransAtlantic telephone with Secretary Mellon in Paris.
