OBITUARY

DUNEDIN, June 27

The death has occurred of Mr William Findlay Sligo, a prominent member of the Dunedin Stock Exchange, "and well known in mining circles. Air Sligo was born at Ballarat, Victoria, in 1859, coining to New Zealand at tile age of twenty-seven. He was one of a party that opened and developed the Macctown reefs. He was an active member of the Otago Bowling Club One son, Dr. Sligo, is on the Christchurch Hospital staff.
