WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24th. A new artist appearing oil lYA’s programme this evening will be 'Air VV. S burton, well known Auckland tenor Keg. Morgan and his Orchestra wid sup ply the instrumental portion of the musical programme, and baritone solos will I>j given by .Mr Alorgan himself, The Salon Trio will present instrumental trios, soprano solos with violin obligato, and piano, violin and ’cello solos. Miss .Marian Irving will supply items of humour. The programme will conclude with a gramophone lecture-recital on the latest recording*, by A Commonlator. Dr fitly FI. Scholefield will he the speaker for the 2YA International evening.

•The 3YA Studio Octet will accompany Mrs Anita Ledshum in her mezzo-con-tralto solos, "My Ain Folk,” "lhe Fairy .Pipers.” “Dine e Hine” and "'l lie Kerry •Dance" to be sung this evening. Another vocalist will oe Mr Malcolm J. .Miller, bass-baritone. A vaudeville turn will be provided by Mr Chas. Lawrence (vocalist) and Mr Bert (loodland (at the piano). Trombone solos will he played by -*r E. 0. Williams. The Orchestral Octet will include in their programme a musical comedy selection' “A Country Girl," "The Albanian March,” “Romantoque Overture,” “Coronach,” "Norwegian Dance” and Byford’s “Minuctto.” y A will broadcast a concert, to be given by the Dunedin Upturned Soldiers' Choir. Part songs will include the humorous number, "I’he Pump’ (a council meeting), and a Norwegian melody, "Song of the Northmen.” As a choral number "The Sword of Ferrara will be. sung. lhe choir numbers will also include three sea chanties.

THURSDAY, JUNIi 2,5 th. This evening, IYA will relay a concert to be given ny the Leys Institute Orchestra, under the conductursh.p oi .nr Harold Baxter, lhe accompaniste Wm be i.vtiss Phyllis Graham, and the 1 aider of the Ore'll--stra, Master Harold Taberner. The soloists lor the evening wll ue .Miss A lolly Atkinson, the well Known mezzo-soprano, and 'Miss Jean Clarkson, who will be heard in both piano and ’cello solos.

A Studio concert by the Singing Circle of the Wellington Pioneer Club, under the direction of Mrs Ginn, will be broadcast by 2YA. Previous programmes by the club have Ikcu well received by listeners, and on this occasion should again be most acceptable. Augment.tig .the items by the ladies oi Die Singing Circle, will be solus by Mi Denis Sluard and .Mr K. .Evelyn Lodge. The Salon Orchestra, under Mr M. 'I . Dixon, will supply the instrumental portion of the musical programme.

M’iss fra lice's '‘Marnerton, 3YA soprano, will be accompanied by tfie Studio Octet in her songs—-three solos from the ’The Vale of Arden” and the waltz "Printemps." Mr Finlay Robb will be hiard in bass solos. The orchestral programme will include the “Coriolamis” overture and a grand opera selection "Lucia di 1 ammermoor.” During the evening, Mr Te Ari Pitamu, Maori, lecturer, will give the second series of talks on Maori foods.
